Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician who enjoys mentoring others while continuing to work hands-on with patients? Brentwood Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Lead RVT to help guide our talented team, support exceptional patient care, and foster the collaborative culture that has made our hospital a trusted part of the Brentwood community for over 50 years.

What You'll Do

As our Lead RVT, you'll divide your time between patient care and team leadership by:

  • Mentoring and coaching veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Leading by example in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Supporting workflow and helping maintain an efficient hospital
  • Assisting with anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and nursing care
  • Promoting a positive, collaborative culture where teammates can grow
  • Partnering with hospital leadership to support training and daily operations

We're Looking For

  • Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
  • Several years of veterinary technician experience
  • Leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience
  • Strong technical and anesthesia skills
  • A positive attitude with a passion for developing others
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Flexible 8-hour shifts
  • Open Monday through Saturday
  • Rotation of just 1–2 Saturdays per month

Compensation & Benefits

  • $26–$36/hour, depending on experience and credentials
