Sea Island Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Surgery Veterinary Technician to join our highly respected, AAHA-accredited small animal general practice in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina. - A newly remodeled surgical suite and dental suite

- Advanced diagnostics and equipment, including:

- Full IDEXX in-house laboratory

- Digital radiology & digital dental radiology

- Two ultrasound units

- Oxygen cage

- Complete anesthesia monitoring equipment

About the Role: Surgery Veterinary Technician

This is a surgery-focused technician position, ideal for someone who wants to be solely dedicated to surgical patients and anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures

· Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and packs

· Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients

· Intubation and anesthesia machine operation

· Monitor anesthesia both electronically and physically

· Support post-operative recovery and patient comfort

· Maintain surgical suite cleanliness and organization

Who We’re Looking For

· Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience

· Strong anesthesia and surgical knowledge

· Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred, but not required

· A team-first mindset with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for learning

· Someone who thrives in a collaborative, communicative, and supportive environment

Personality, attitude, and passion matter just as much as technical skills here.

Schedule & Compensation

· 4 ten-hour shifts per week

· Rotating schedule of 2 Saturdays per month

· $20–$27/hour, based on experience
