Veterinary Assistants play an integral role in our hospital whether they are handling patient care, taking care of clients, assisting doctors in surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue developing your knowledge for years! We are looking for a compassionate assistant who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work!

About You:
Committed Veterinary Assistant
· You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):
·Patient assessment and physical examinations
·Phlebotomy and catheter placement
·Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique
·Anesthesia monitoring proficiency
·Perioperative surgical nursing skills
·Routine dental prophylaxis experience
·Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures
·Previous veterinary experience is required
·Passionate about growth and development
·Positive attitude and TEAM player
·Excellent communication skills
·Exceptional customer service and compassion for all clients and patients
·Adaptable to the demands of the day
·Ability to work efficiently, and remain calm during stressful situations
Schedule:
· Our hospital is open Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm

Compensation: We believe that each team member should be compensated based on their knowledge, skills, and experiences. We expect the range for a veterinary assistant to be $17-24 per hour.
