Abbotsford Animal Hospital in Aurora, ON is looking for a full time or part time RVT to join our growing team!

At Abbotsford Animal Hospital, teamwork and efficiency go hand in hand with keeping things light and supportive. Surgery will be the main focus of your role, with opportunities to assist in a wide range of procedures including routine, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgeries. You’ll also have the chance to flex your skills in other areas of veterinary medicine to keep your role well-rounded.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepping patients for surgery - making sure every detail is ready for success
• Assisting confidently in the OR - supporting the veterinary team through routine, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgeries
• Monitoring anesthesia like a pro - keeping a close eye on vitals and making adjustments as needed
• Running diagnostics - in-house lab work and pre-surgical screenings
• Providing exceptional post-op care - supporting smooth and safe recoveries
• Assisting with appointments and treatments when needed - keeping your skills sharp in all areas
• Communicating with clients - offering clear post-op instructions and ensuring they feel confident in their pet’s care
